Samo Kramberger
In 2009 I started my own business as a professional freelance artist. I’m consulting companies on their visual identities, branding and marketing. As external business partner I collaborate closely with company’s development teams, offering services in web and app development. My major partners were NIT d.o.o., Terme Maribor d.o.o., Mikrocop d.o.o., SkyLabs d.o.o., University of Maribor and others.

Teaching
1997 – 2004
I am a professor of art education. I graduated in 1997 on the topic of computer-design. For 6 years I taught Art and Design at Commercial High School in Maribor.
I wrote a catalog of knowledge for a new school course ‘Visual Communication’. The program was approved and authorized by the Ministry of Education and is now implemented in school education.
Zrcalo d.o.o.
1995 – 2008
In the year from 1995 till 2008 i was head designer at company Zrcalo d.o.o.
Zrcalo d.o.o. was one of the leading Slovene enterprise in the field of development and implementation of electronic business solutions, pioneers of electronic banking and Internet applications as well as designing web and multimedia presentations.
As a conceptual and graphic author, I participated in the development of a family of applications for Electronic Banking. The family included installation, online and mobile version, and administrator application. All applications had a common look and user experience. System of Electronic Banking represented a new generation of banking software for efficient and secure distribution of banking services via Internet. Our electronic banking solutions have been implemented into the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for payments and many Slovene banks.
In the field of Web and multimedia presentation design I have developed our own Content Management System for fluent website production.
NIT d.o.o.
2008 – 2012
In 2008 I was external consultant in game design and development at NIT d.o.o company.
My major projects were: Casino lobby, Poker room, New Slot engine, Slot Game design, Video Poker games and system, Hi-Low games and system, Casino Back office system – Frames and G2S (Game to Server) and NIT d.o.o. company visual identity design.
Mikrocop d.o.o.
In 2013 I joined the development team at Mikrocop d.o.o. company. As graphic designer and user interface expert I’m working on the Next Generation Document System – InDoc EDGE – paperless intelligent Cloud service.
Terme maribor d.o.o.
2012 – 2016
In the years from 2012 to 2016 I was lead designer and web master for Terme Maribor d.o.o. company.
The company Terme Maribor d.o.o. is an important tourist service provider in Slovenia. It provides hotel offers, congress activities, medical activities, wellness, catering service and shopping opportunities.
My work was to redesign company brand and to establish a new corporate identity design. I completely redesigned 10 of company owned brands. I have cooperated with the company marketing department and ran an advertising campaigns in print and digital media.
As company web master I designed and developed fifteen of company web sites in six languages based on one Joomla platform with MightySites Extension, including Open Cart web-shop for B2B and B2C eCommerce. I developed a custom component for publishing hotel offers with linkage to online booking system.
SkyLabs d.o.o.
I’m external Collaborator at SkyLabs d.o.o.. As lead designer I’m responsible for creating intuitive website and app GUI designs, captivating exhibition spaces, promotions, and engaging social media content. Leveraging expertise in design principles and collaboration skills to exceed project objectives and elevate SkyLabs’ visual identity. Consistently delivering excellence through innovative solutions and a commitment to staying ahead of design trends.
Family business
I am continuing my journey as part of the family business, where together with my wife, we are working on traditional and digital techniques. My work is based on the design of application graphic interfaces, websites and online stores.
App design
I have participated in the creation of many mobile and installation applications by designing the user interface.
Websites
Most of my design work is done by creating websites on the wordpress platform.
Webshops
I offer the creation of online stores on the woocommerce platform. The specialty of the offer is in cooperation with the company Softeh d.o.o., with which I offer the connection of the store with the Pantheon platform.
The Krambergers
Our family has so many exciting adventures that I try to preserve some by making short animations based on memories.
